In a recent development surrounding the death of Deputy Finance Minister and Ejisu MP, John Kumah, broadcast journalist Blessed Godsbrain Smart, known as Captain Smart, has publicly criticized Apostle Lilian Kumah, the late minister's wife, questioning her credibility as a religious leader.

Captain Smart, who works with Onua TV and FM, accused Apostle Lilian Kumah of being insincere and deceptive.

He advised her to remain silent and focus on mourning her husband rather than making misleading statements.

In a video circulating online, he said, "Dear woman, please keep mute and bury your husband. It is not nice. When I called certain people I realized that you don't speak the truth. You are a fake Apostle. The person who gave you that title has done a disservice to Ghana.

In response to claims made by Apostle Lilian Kumah that her husband did not die from food poisoning but rather from a terminal illness he had been battling for over a year, Captain Smart expressed skepticism.

He questioned the timing of the illness in relation to the couple's marriage, suggesting that there may be discrepancies in her account.

Apostle Lilian Kumah clarified during an interview on Asaase radio that her late husband had been diagnosed with a terminal illness by doctors in Germany almost a year ago, refuting claims of food poisoning as the cause of his death.
