A prominent serial caller, Sir Obama-Pokuase, well-known for actively participating in public discourse, has raised pertinent questions regarding Mahama's communication strategy.

Sir Obama, who has gained popularity for his insightful analyses and critiques, has recently taken Mahama to task for what he perceives as a consistent pattern of employing derogatory language in political interactions. In a tweet, Sir Obama questioned the rationale behind what he described as a persistent engagement in politics of name calling by Mr Mahama.

“Why is Mahama always engaging in politics of name-calling?” he asked. Giving instances to buttress his claim, he noted that: “Last week, in Kumasi, he referred to President Akufo-Addo and Dr. Bawumia as "Jack Toronto and his kid brother,” emphasising that, “this is not the first time he's doing that.

“In the lead up to 2016 elections, he used to reference then candidate Akufo-Addo as "Opana", meanwhile, Nana, on all political platforms refer to him as "Yɛnwura Mahama", to wit, "Our Dearest Mahama." It is about time he stopped the petty jokes! 2024 elections is going to be about policies and track records, not name-calling,” he stated.
