Carlo Ancelotti has assured that Kylian Mbappe will find his place at Real Madrid, despite some concerns about his positioning within the team.
Mbappe, who was unveiled to a crowd of 80,000 last week, joined Real Madrid on a free transfer after leaving Paris Saint-Germain.
His role at the Santiago Bernabeu has raised questions due to the intense competition for attacking positions.
Ancelotti now faces the challenge of integrating Mbappe into a potent attacking lineup that already includes Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo, and Jude Bellingham.
Mbappe has primarily played as a left winger, but with Vinicius Jr. currently occupying that spot, Ancelotti may need to devise a new tactical approach for the 2024-25 season.
Speaking at the Giffoni Film Festival, Ancelotti said when quizzed on where Real's new galactico will play: "It is my responsibility to find a place for Mbappe. We’ll find a place for him, we’ll squeeze him in.”
Spanish reports indicate that Ancelotti may consider repositioning Kylian Mbappe to a central role to optimize his impact and adjust the team's attacking setup. Under this plan, Vinicius Jr. would maintain his role on the left wing, while Rodrygo would continue on the right.
Jude Bellingham might be shifted further back into midfield, potentially filling the role left by German great Toni Kroos, who retired following Euro 2024.
Mbappe is currently on a break after a demanding 2023-24 season with PSG and the French national team.
He is anticipated to make his debut for Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup final against Atalanta on August 14, provided he has fully recovered from the broken nose he sustained during Euro 2024.
