The video has left many wondering about the underlying reasons for such a chilly and tense encounter within the NPP ranks.Public opinions on Agyapong's actions diverged, with some praising his straightforwardness, commending him for not pretending to be on good terms with those he might have differences with. On the other hand, critics argued that such behavior was unbecoming, especially for someone aspiring to the presidency of Ghana.

Comments on the video posted on Facebook by TV3 reflected the divided sentiments:Kyei Baffour Tenkorang: "But that’s not leadership— everybody can’t be on your side. Competition is very much allowed in politics. After elections are over, friendship continues."Issah Yahaya: "Ken has gained my respect, I swear! God even likes those who don't pretend. Well done Ken.

"Amy Gyenkel: "I just love this man, plain and no-nonsense person. They don't know shame; after all, they did, they still want to get close. No entertaining them jor."Sumang Kavini: "I love his straightforwardness. Some of the MPs are hypocrites and ungrateful. I can't wait for him to field his candidates in those constituencies to give them a real showdown.

"Nana Asare Edmund Hillary: "Gross immaturity, and people are praising this? Can you imagine this person wants to be a president? I like Ken as a person but sometimes he behaves too immature. If you want to be a president, you must learn to tolerate everybody who is a Ghanaian, including those who don't like you.

"Enock Mensah Mega: "Some of his biggest political enemies were Koku Anyidoho, Muntaka, Kofi Adams, and Asiedu Nketia, but he's best buddies with them today. What's more mature than that? His problem is not about his colleague MPs not supporting him oo.
6
His problem is those MPs he personally helped financially, gave them logistics and campaigned for them in their various constituencies to become MPs even as late as 2am risking his life, those were the same MPs who went out there in public to DISGRACE him, INSULT him, DISRESPECT him, and LIED about him all in the name of politics. Besides, he has the right to choose who he'll greet or shake hands."
