A safety concern has arisen at the Kpando Torkor ferry point in Volta Region, as vehicles face the risk of plunging into the Volta Lake due to the lack of a designated landing area.
The ferry point serves as a crucial transportation link for residents and commuters, facilitating travel across the expansive Volta Lake.
However, the lack of a proper landing area poses significant hazards, particularly during loading and unloading procedures.
Reports indicate that vehicles, upon disembarking from the ferry, vehicles are compelled to navigate unstable ramps.
