The Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and his wife, Lady Julia, made a grand entrance at the graduation ceremony of their son at Tema Secondary School.
A motorcade preceded their arrival, creating a buzz of excitement among the attendees.
Upon reaching the school, the royal couple was warmly welcomed by the school authorities, who were honored to have such esteemed guests at the event.
In an unrelated event, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II is scheduled to visit the Ga state on Sunday, June 9, 2024. This historic visit will include a special durbar hosted by the Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, at the forecourt of his palace.
The visit comes following the Ga Mantse's recent participation in the 25th-anniversary celebration of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II's ascension to the throne and his 74th birthday celebration. Nii Boye Abbey, a senior member of the planning committee, shared these details during a press conference with the media.
The presence of the Asantehene in the Ga state is expected to further strengthen the bonds between the Ashanti kingdom and the Ga people, highlighting the importance of cultural exchanges and cooperation among Ghana's diverse ethnic groups.
