A recent viral video featuring Sharaf Mahama, son of former Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama, has caused a buzz on social media.
In the clip, Sharaf is seen performing alongside singer OliveTheBoy at a concert, delivering a lively rendition of OliveTheBoy's popular track, "Asylum."
During the performance, Sharaf Mahama joins in on the chorus and showcases a series of energetic dance moves, described by viewers as ‘Dbee’.
This term refers to the child of a wealthy individual in local vernacular.
Sharaf, who has frequently been in the public eye, has often accompanied his father on political campaigns, engaged in civil protests, and participated in significant religious events. While many praised his vibrant performance and connection with the younger generation, some critics perceived his stage appearance as a strategic move to influence voters in favor of his father’s political ambitions.
