2 mins readA Muslim lady, by the name Zainab Alhassan has alleged that TV3 Ghana's Most Beautiful (GMB) judges disqualified her because of her hijab.Some sections of Ghanaians are of the view that what the judges did was discrimination against the lady. Others bet to differ and believe that the GMB audition judges had every right to disqualify Zainab.

Saddick Adams (Sports Obama), a sports journalist, who is also the Head of Sports at Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) and the host of Floodlights on Angel FM, agree with the latter. Saddick Adams had this to say about the matter"I'm a MUSLIM, and a devout one as such. I know this is going to irk some people but I don't care . If she was thrown out of a public school, a public office or hospital, I'd be here to defend it.

 But you don't carry your religion and its beliefs into someone's private business and come to social media to court unnecessary sympathy. Why does anyone think that a private programme or event that has set their own standard criteria and requirements should admit them together with their religious beliefs? She can go and partake in a Muslim beauty contest that allows pageants to wear Abaaya and Hijab. It is NOT by force.
