Lamisi, who married Apostle Elijah Arthur four years ago and brought her 18-year-old daughter from a previous relationship into the marriage, faced a significant emotional setback approximately two and a half months ago when she suffered a miscarriage, which would have been their only child together.Prior to her disappearance, Lamisi left her matrimonial home on June 12 with a few belongings, prompting speculation about possible marital issues.

About a year into her marriage, Lamisi received threatening text messages demanding her resignation from her political position, culminating in the burning of her house at Sakumono, though the perpetrator remains unidentified.
