Ghanaian rapper M.anifest has expressed his views on the country’s ongoing economic difficulties.
In a recent post on social media, he highlighted the paradox of wealth in Ghana, noting that while the nation has abundant resources, many citizens continue to struggle due to a lack of connection with those who possess this wealth.
The artist, known for his hit song "We Dey Manage," also pointed to the increasing visibility of campaign billboards, advertisements, and vehicles used by politicians in preparation for the upcoming 2024 general elections.
He suggested that this proliferation is indicative of the financial resources circulating within the economy.
"You might think there's no money in the system, but just look at the multitude of campaign billboards, advertisements, and the luxury vehicles on display," he stated. "Then you’ll realise it’s you who’s not close to where the money is."
M.anifest's remarks on X have sparked various reactions online, with some users praising his comments, while others echoed his observations about the economic landscape in the country.
