Following the devastating anterior cruciate ligament injury suffered by his Chelsea teammate Wesley Fofana, Reece James took to social media to express his heartfelt message of support.

The French center-back recently underwent surgery for the injury, which will keep him sidelined for a significant period.

Fofana has faced challenges settling in at Stamford Bridge since his transfer from Leicester City, having made only 15 Premier League appearances last season due to a knee injury that required extensive medical attention from the club's staff.

Fellow team-mate, James, shared an Instagram story showing support for Fofana along with a caption that read: "I'm with you brother. I know you'll be back stronger."

Chelsea will begin their pre-season campaign with a friendly against Wrexham on Wednesday at the Kenan Memorial Stadium located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
