Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) forward, Neymar, has been granted an extended leave by the club to address the legal issues he is currently facing with the Brazilian authorities.

The trouble arose when Neymar constructed an artificial lake on his property in Brazil without obtaining the necessary permissions from the appropriate authorities.

Initially expected to return to PSG for the start of pre-season training, Neymar will now take additional time off with the full support of the club.

This decision allows him the necessary space to resolve the matter after being fined €3 million by Brazilian environmental authorities.

Legal proceedings have commenced, and Neymar has a 20-day window to appeal the ruling.

Despite the legal challenge, Neymar is preparing for his seventh season with PSG, and the club has shown solidarity with the player in his efforts to address the situation.

Neymar involved in another scandal

Meanwhile, Neymar was involved in an altercation at a nightclub in Brazil, just less than two weeks after he was caught cheating on his pregnant girlfriend, Marca reports.

The Paris Saint-Germain striker was seen having a dispute with another man in a nightclub in Rio de Janeiro, where a Thiaguinho concert occurred.

The night ended in turmoil after Neymar's altercation with another man, in which they pushed and shouted. The intervention of the nightclub security was even required to calm things down between the two.

Neymar blasted by girlfriend’s sister

Earlier, Sports Brief reported the sister of Neymar's girlfriend has made their private business public by claiming the Paris Saint-German star refuses to act like a man.

Neymar's girlfriend is Bruna Biancardi and it is her sister, Bianca Biancardi, who really does not seem to get on well with the Brazilian star.

Bianca resorted to Instagram to criticise the former Barcelona forward for cheating on his pregnant partner, whom he is expecting a baby with in May.
