A video of Prophet Eric Boahen-Uche, founder of Reign House Chapel International, has resurfaced online following the death of Pope Francis. The footage, which has stirred discussions on social media, shows the prophet predicting the Pope’s death months before it occurred.
In the video dated December 31, 2024, Prophet Boahen-Uche expressed concern about Pope Francis’ health, urging people to intercede on his behalf.
"Let's pray for Pope Francis this year. We were all born as Roman Catholic so let's pray for him because death is looking for him," he said.
Pope Francis passed away on April 21, 2025, after battling a severe illness. The Vatican confirmed his death, stating that the 88-year-old leader of the Catholic Church had recently been critically ill.
The BBC described him as "a voice for peace with a contagious smile," as tributes from around the world continue to pour in.
Earlier this year, the Pope had spent five weeks in the hospital due to pneumonia, and his doctors revealed he was in critical condition during that time.
Born Jorge Mario Bergoglio, Pope Francis was the 266th Pope of the Catholic Church and served as a global religious leader known for his humility and compassion.
