Professor Jane Naana Opoku Aggyemang the former Education Minister under the John Dramani Mahama, has being selected by the former president Mahama as his running mate. The pronouncement of John Mahama has being followed by a lot of criticisms from their rivalry party the NPP. President Akufo-Addo has finally spoken about Jane Naana's appointment.

According to the president on his address on her Facebook page, no one can dispute the fact that Jane Naana is an intelligent personality. "I believe Jane Naana is brilliant in terms of academics and I see her to more capable to be John Mahama's running mate" he stated.

However the president said that some people especially members of the opposition party NDC are making a lot of comments that Jane Naana's appointment has being a treat to the NPP that is why it is attracting a lot of criticisms from them.With him he never sees Jane Naana To be treat to his party.

"Ghanaians will cast their votes based on your achievements but not your personality or appearance. The NPP believes Our achievements will speak on our behave" he stated.

After that he made a funny statement that 2020 elections are just at the corner and 'the Play be the Floor'.
