Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has strongly criticised Mamuka Jugeli, the agent of his teammate Kvaratskhelia, for suggesting that Osimhen might move to Saudi Arabia for financial reasons.

Osimhen, expressing his disdain, referred to Jugeli as a 'piece of filth and a disgrace' and issued a stern warning, insisting that his name should not be mentioned in any conversation involving Jugeli.

“Dear Mamuka Jugeli, you are a piece of filth and a disgrace. I’m embarrassed by your sense of reasoning. Dumb f*ck! KEEP MY NAME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH!" Osimhen stated on his Instagram story.

In a recent interview with Sport1 Georgia, Mamuka Jugeli asserted that unlike his teammate Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who harbours ambitions of playing for prominent European clubs, Victor Osimhen is set to make a move to Saudi Arabia in the upcoming summer primarily for financial reasons.

"Osimhen? He has signed a new contract, but do you really think he will play for Napoli throughout his career? I'm saying it now: he will go to play in Saudi Arabia in the summer. Napoli increased Osimhen's contract, but Khvicha wouldn't accept a move to Arabia, even if they offered him a billion euros.

"He would probably agree to play for Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, or Manchester City. Khvicha has different aspirations and goals; he wants to succeed, and he's already achieving that."

Despite winning the 2023 CAF Player of the Year and securing the 8th position in the Ballon d'Or rankings, Victor Osimhen has attracted interest from various top European clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, and Real Madrid.

In December 2023, he opted to extend his contract with Napoli, committing to a two-year deal that includes a release clause exceeding £100 million.
