Paul Afotey Quaye has been officially confirmed as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Krowor Municipal Assembly, with all assembly members offering their unanimous support.
Mr. Quaye, an engineer by profession and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) secretary for the Krowor constituency, earned a flawless 100% approval in the confirmation vote.
The process, held under heightened security, was closely monitored by Greater Accra Regional Minister Linda Ocloo and Member of Parliament for Krowor, Agnes Naa Momo Lartey.
Speaking to the media, Mr Quaye addressed the challenges he plans to focus on during his tenure.
He emphasized the need for improvements in infrastructure, particularly road conditions, and highlighted the urgency of addressing youth unemployment.
“I have quite several challenges to deal with; the state of our roads, youth unemployment,” he said.
Mr Quaye further stated, “The vision I bring to bear is in line with that of the president, which is the vision to reset Ghana through the provision of jobs to create prosperity for everyone.”
