“The President, John Damani Mahama, has already transferred over GH¢101 million to the secondary schools to deal with the purchases that he is talking about. I can show you evidence of the transfer that His Excellency the President is dealing with the issues in secondary schools.

“He has directed that food that we had purchased to deal with some other problem but because of the emergency involving secondary education, he has directed that the rice and the maize be distributed to them.“So the schools don’t have a problem with food. They have enough food.

And then in addition to distributing the food to the secondary schools, he has made direct transfers to secondary schools so that they can purchase ingredients that they need to provide food for the students. So we have started implementing the promises.”
