Napoli's striker, Victor Osimhen, is on the verge of prolonging his tenure with the club following promising discussions.
Reportedly, the Nigerian forward is preparing to finalize a contract extension for three years, securing his presence at Napoli until 2026.
As per Sky Sports correspondent Gianluca Di Marzio, under the terms of the new agreement, Osimhen will receive a slightly above-average €10 million annual net salary.
Earlier, Victor Osimhen declined a staggering €1 million per week offer from Saudi Arabian team Al Hilal.
Had he accepted the proposition, he could have garnered a yearly sum of €52 million from the Saudi Pro League outfit.
Hilal's pursuit of Osimhen followed their unsuccessful attempt to secure the signing of Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint Germain.
In the previous Serie A season, Victor Osimhen had a remarkable performance, emerging as the top scorer with 26 goals in 32 matches.
