Ghanaian producer, Ephraim Beatz, shared a heartwarming tale of support from fellow artist Opanka.

Recounting their friendship, Ephraim highlighted Opanka's helping hand, even in their early days as strangers. Their bond predates their musical success.

“I think ever since I started music, we’ve known each other. He started music before me. He became my friend because he helped me when he didn’t even know me,” he disclosed.

Early in their careers, Opanka, having entered the music scene before Ephraim, became an instrumental figure in Ephraim's life.

Despite their limited acquaintance, Opanka extended a compassionate gesture one chilly evening during a studio session, providing Ephraim with a place to rest and nourishment to sustain him.

“I was sleeping in the studio, met Mix studio. Shoutout to Met Mix. So in the evening when everyone leaves, I clean up the studio and sleep but there was one night it was raining and the artistes were still recording and I was outside when Opanka and he said ‘Gentleman it’s cold won’t you go and sleep’ then I told him that I sleep in the studio,” he narrated.

Recalling the incident, Ephraim shared that Opanka entered the studio, fetched food, and promptly returned. Without hesitation, Opanka then invited Ephraim to accompany him to his home, ensuring both nourishment and shelter were provided.

“He went inside and came back and said let’s go home. That was the first time I was meeting each other. He went to buy food and we ate together then I went to sleep,” he added.

This encounter with Opanka held profound significance for Ephraim, extending beyond a mere act of kindness. It served as a pivotal moment, providing solace and assistance during a challenging period in Ephraim's life.

“It had been a long time since I slept on a mattress so I woke up late the next day. He treated me well,” he told Felicia Osei on Onua Fm
