2 mins readA member of the public, Tabitha, has expressed her displeasure over a piece of music by musician turned politician, Obour, amidst investigations into the alleged marriage between 63-year-old Ga priest, Nuumo Borketey Laweh XXXIII, and Naa Yoomo Ayemuede.

Obour, who is a former President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), about a decade ago dominated the airwaves, topped the charts, and bagged awards, including the Ghana Music Awards for “Aboa Konkontiba”, one of his biggest career hits.

But now, just like some five years ago, the track has been scrutinized, with a citizen sharing distaste over the claim that it supports older men going in for young girls who are not legally adults to get married.Tabitha noted that such artwork supports the idea that paedophilia has been ongoing with many individuals embracing it."This particular behaviour is deep in our people.
