Yiadom secured a narrow victory with a margin of just 19 votes.This re-collation, conducted at the EC's Greater Accra Regional office, is part of a broader exercise involving the review of results from nine constituencies.

EC officials confirmed that Yiadom received 18,558 votes, surpassing his closest competitor, Samuel Aboagye of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), who garnered 18,539 votes. Independent candidate Adjei Owusu Afriyie placed third with 424 votes.The re-collation process was initiated after concerns were raised regarding procedural irregularities in the initial vote count.
