The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has no plans to publish the findings of its internal investigation into the party's defeat in the 2024 general elections, according to its Director of Communications, Richard Ahiagbah.
Following the submission of the report by a 12-member committee led by Professor Aaron Mike Oquaye, Mr. Ahiagba told JoyNews that the document is strictly for the party's internal use.
“It is an internal document that will guide the party’s reform process and help position us for victory in 2028. So, while it may not have been explicitly stated, it is clearly implied that the document is not meant for public consumption,” he explained.
He noted that although the full report won’t be released, party supporters would still be informed of the major concerns raised.
According to him, the committee’s recommendations will be instrumental in directing the party’s strategic decisions ahead of the next elections.
