Reports indicate that prospective candidates eyeing the Mahyia South Seat have only 48 hours remaining to lodge their nominations at the political party's headquarters.
The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, July 9th.
The political party has fixed the filing fee at GHC 17,500. However, there's a 50 percent rebate on this fee for women, youth, and persons with disabilities (PWDs).

This announcement follows the appointment of the current Member of Parliament, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, as the running mate for the party's presidential candidate.
The party has scheduled the primary election for Sunday, July 14th, 2024.
