Ghanaian rapper Medikal has issued a strong warning to social media users who often draw comparisons between him and other artistes, especially Kwesi Arthur.

Taking to X on April 15, 2025, he expressed that these comparisons undermine his efforts and achievements in the music scene.

“Never ever compare me to any artiste, not Kwesi Arthur or anyone. Don’t even dare, are you guys fukn mad?” Medikal posted.

He didn’t hold back, insisting that no rapper—be it local, continental, or global—can rival his skill, influence, or dedication.

“Make una never compare me to any rapper for Ghana, Africa and beyond, nobody be my mate!” he added in pidgin.

Despite his recent remarks, Medikal and Kwesi Arthur have worked together on numerous popular tracks like “Grind Day Remix,” “Different,” and other well-received collaborations.
