Kpassa-based Metro Mass Transit (MMT) bus, with registration number GR 4417-12 loaded with ammunitions, was on Sunday evening intercepted by a team of police personnel in the Oti Region, at Nkwanta on the Kpassa-Bimbilla road of the Eastern corridor.

The police, led by Inspector Linus Akpatsa, Lance Corporal Michael Appiah and Corporal Benjamin Andoh, Municipal Commander ASP William Ayensu and other Officers in-charge of Nkwanta Police, intercepted the bus which had ammunitions concealed under the passenger seats and booth, during a random search on the bus at the Nkwanta Police barrier Sunday evening.
