The National Identification Authority (NIA) has announced the expansion of its premium registration services to five additional regions, beginning 5th May.
This move aims to enhance access for Ghanaians who seek expedited services for acquiring the Ghana Card.
As part of this rollout, the premium registration centre at the NIA Head Office in Shiashie will be relocated to the Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) located at the Legon City Campus, with the digital address GA-076-0326.
From the effective date, both the RCC Legon City Campus and the CalBank premium centres will operate strictly on an appointment basis. Applicants intending to access services such as first-time registration, card replacement, or updates to personal information at these centres must book an appointment via register.nia.gov.gh. Meanwhile, all other premium centres nationwide will continue to serve applicants on a walk-in basis.
The Authority has encouraged eligible applicants in the newly covered regions to utilise the expanded premium service for a faster and more convenient Ghana Card issuance process.
It further reminds the public that its 276 district offices across the country remain fully operational and continue to offer standard registration services.
The five (5) additional premium registration centres are as follows:
