Deputy CEO of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), Abigail Swad Laryea, has announced that the 2024 presidential pitch will follow the same format as previous years, with one notable change: an increase in the prize award for finalists.
“This year’s finalists will receive GH¢3 million instead of the GH¢2.5 million that was awarded to finalists last year.”
The Presidential Pitch for Young Entrepreneurs is an initiative by NEIP designed to enhance the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Ghana.
This competition, unique in Ghana's history, targets young entrepreneurs aged 18 to 40 and provides an incubation platform along with capital funding from the government.
The program aims to transform innovative businesses by Ghanaian youth into global leaders with government support.
Selection criteria include feasibility, innovation, scalability, and potential impact of the business.
NEIP is inviting applications from aspiring young entrepreneurs seeking grants to expand their businesses.
