The Functional Executive Committee (FEC) of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has referred the recent outbreak of violence at the Greater Accra Regional Office during the vetting of aspirants for the Odododiodio Constituency parliamentary primary to a dedicated special committee.

The party has revealed that all activities related to the primary election in the constituency have been temporarily suspended pending the results of the investigations conducted by the committee.In a letter signed by General Secretary Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, and as reported by JoyNews, the NDC confirmed that this decision was made during a meeting held by FEC on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.
