A National Prayer and Thanksgiving Service will take place this afternoon at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) as part of events marking the Presidential Inauguration Ceremony.The service, scheduled to begin at 3:00 pm in the UPSA auditorium, is open to the public.

President John Dramani Mahama and Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang will join worshippers in the event dedicated to expressing gratitude following their electoral victory.Several prominent personalities, including the Speaker of Parliament, Members of Parliament, and executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), are expected to attend the service.

President Mahama, who was sworn into office on January 7, secured over 56 percent of the total votes cast in the 2024 presidential elections.
