2 mins readReggae musician and former candidate for president of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Ras Caleb, has cursed those who took money from him in exchange for their promises to vote for him but broke their promises after the recently concluded elections, in which his rival Bessa Simons was chosen as MUSIGA president.

Ras Caleb explained that he had conducted extensive tours across all regions of Ghana and was deeply concerned about the poor management within the union. He believed that members had pledged their support to bring about necessary improvements.However, following the election results, Ras Caleb expressed his disappointment with the outcome. During a media statement, he criticized members who had accepted money from him but did not vote for him.

He conveyed his preference for focusing on his other endeavors rather than involving himself in MUSIGA administration, which he described as corrupt and lacking vision.“The members who took money from me and didn’t vote for me should continue to wallow in poverty.
