Ghana’s flag is flying high in India as Jutta Ama Pokuah Addo steps onto the global stage for the 72nd Miss World pageant in Hyderabad.
The 20-year-old, currently studying law at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), earned her place in the international spotlight after winning the Miss Ghana 2025 crown on March 29 at the Avenue Event Centre in Accra.
Representing the Central Region, she rose above 15 other contestants with her poise, intelligence, and compelling vision.
Jutta’s journey to Miss World was marked by notable achievements, including being named Miss Photogenic and winning the Miss Social Media/Voting category.
She arrived in Hyderabad ahead of the grand finale set for May 31, 2025, at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Telangana.
Before the big night, she will participate in cultural exchanges and humanitarian-driven events alongside more than 120 contestants from across the globe.
This year’s Miss World pageant celebrates the theme “Beauty with a Purpose” and will end with the reigning queen, Krystyna Pyszková of the Czech Republic, crowning her successor.
Jutta’s participation not only symbolizes personal ambition but also highlights Ghana’s ongoing efforts to promote young women’s empowerment and share its vibrant culture with the world.
