A cargo truck under military escort was allegedly ambushed by unidentified assailants in the Missiga suburb of Bawku on Thursday, January 16.Per reports, the truck, en route from the border town of Kulungugu to Bawku township, was targeted by gunmen who launched an attack from a concealed position. The attackers reportedly fired upon the vehicle before making a swift escape. Thankfully, no injuries or fatalities were reported.
