In a startling disclosure, Ghanaian rapper Medikal has come forward with serious allegations against his estranged partner, Fella Makafui, concerning the safety of their daughter, Island.

Medikal, whose real name is Samuel Adu Frimpong, detailed a harrowing incident where their young daughter nearly ingested a 'wee toffee,' a candy laced with marijuana, allegedly left within her reach by her mother.

"I have been through so much. I won't say some things, because no matter what, she is my daughter's mother. I can't say some things. They are too gory. They are too heartbreaking. At this point, I am tired. I am very tired," Medikal expressed, revealing his exhaustion with the ongoing domestic strife. Despite the turmoil, he emphasized his desire for his daughter's happiness and well-being.

Medikal recounted an alarming situation where Island was at risk of consuming marijuana-infused gummies, "This lady, can come home with toffees laced with marijuana, gummies that look like candies children will want to have. Island almost picked up… I don't want to say things but what they are doing is pushing me to the edge you know. Island can come home, open her mum's drawer, and she will see these wee toffees, ones that can make one very high upon consumption. Our daughter almost ate one of those gummies."

The rapper also highlighted his role as a provider, ensuring the household's needs are met, including the care of his daughter and the payment of her school fees.

He disclosed the monthly expenses for the nanny, driver, chef, and housekeeper, each amounting to GHC 2000, and lamented the lack of gratitude from Fella, "The house I live in, every month the nanny takes GHC 2K, the driver who takes my child to school also takes, GHC 2K. The chef who cooks for me… because the lady [Fella] does not cook in the house, because she says she is no longer with me."

"It's been almost years, she has never stepped in the kitchen to cook, so I always order food or the nanny being so good to me, she would cook for me to eat, or I would go outside, or my manager would bring me food, that is how I survive in the house. Despite all of that, I said, I was cool. So the nanny takes about GHC 2K, the driver takes about 2K, the chef also takes 2K, the housekeeper also takes 2K, a month. Other expenses have not even come in yet. My daughter's feeding is yet to be mentioned, her school fees is yet to be mentioned, despite all of this, I still said, I was cool. Now I know that most people would say why don't you kick her out of the house,"

Medikal's statement paints a picture of a man striving to maintain peace and stability in a challenging co-parenting situation.

He shared his reluctance to escalate matters, "I do not want to have any trouble with this lady. She has done so many things that I have witnessed that, I even at some point had to call people to come get her out of the house."
