A 35-year-old man met his untimely death after being electrocuted in an attempt to leave his house at Mallam West, a suburb of Accra.on Tuesday.His door nob became electrically charged after a disconnected electrical cable fell into water close to his door during Tuesday's downpour.Unaware of this, he got into contact with the door's handle and got electrocuted.Meanwhile, it is reported that the police have conveyed the body to the mortuary.

On the other hand, some parts of Accra have been flooded following the heavy rainfall.Areas like Kasoa Old Barrier, the Kaneshie highway, Kwame Nkrumah Circle and Ogbojo have all been flooded.
