The Keta Port project aims to develop a third commercial port in Ghana, located in the coastal town of Keta. The project is part of Ghana's broader plan to enhance its port infrastructure to facilitate increased regional trade, especially in light of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). The port is envisioned to include facilities for containerized cargo, bulk shipments, and oil and gas, along with a shipyard. The project is planned to be developed in four phases, with the first phase estimated to cost around $600 million.
