A market woman on the streets of Accra shared her perspective on who she believes would best suit the presidency.

The market woman, whose name is undisclosed, asserted that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is more suitable for the presidency.

According to her, John Dramani Mahama has already had a chance at the presidency, which yielded no results.

She disclosed that Mahama's four years in office brought no significant change to the country or resulted in any effective policies.

"Mahama has not benefited us in any way. He has had a chance in governance, and we have not seen any positive effect. I don't see why he should be given another chance. Bawumia is the alternative," the Ghanaian woman lamented.

As the 2024 elections approach, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has released their 2024 manifesto, while the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is set to release theirs on August 23.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has been selected as the flagbearer of the NPP, with John Dramani Mahama representing the NDC.
