Grammy-winning star Chris Brown has been freed on £5m bail by a court in London.

This comes after he was charged with inflicting an "unprovoked attack" in a nightclub where he allegedlly attacked a music producer with a tequilla bottle at the Tape nightclub

He was arrested on Thursday May 16 at a hotel in Manchester in connection with the matter.

The 36-year-old failed to be present at Southwark Crown Court for Wednesday’s bail hearing, at which the judge said he must pay a £5m security fee to the court.

He is expected to pay £4m immediately, in addition to a further £1m within 7 days.

Commencing June 8, the American Singer can begin his world tour in Amsterdam with stadium and arena dates in Manchester, London, Cardiff, Birmingham and Glasgow later in the month and in July.

Meanwhile Chris Brown is expected to be back in cfourt on 20th June, a date which falls btween his concerts in Cardiff and London.

According to the charge, the singer must hand over his passport anytime he is not travelling for his tour.

He has also been asked to live in a jurisdiction known to the court while he stays away from the alleged victim, avoid the Tape nightclub, and no apply any new travel documents.

His co-defendant, Omololu Akinlolu, also known as HoodyBaby, a 38-year-old fellow American artist, will appear with him next month in court.
