President John Dramani Mahama is set to launch the "Adwumawura Programme" today, Monday, April 28, at the Prempeh Assembly Hall in Kumasi, aimed at creating sustainable jobs for young people.

Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment, George Opare Addo and other government officials are present at the launch.

Speaking ahead of the launch, Mr George Opare Addo, noted that the programme was testament to government’s “promises to create decent and sustainable jobs for young people.”

The Adwumawura Programme falls under the Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment and will be implemented by the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program (NEIP).
