The inuaguration of a joint transitional team by President Akufo-Addo and President-elect John Mahama is currently underway.

President-elect John Dramani Mahama has made his way to the Jubilee House for a meeting today to commence the transition process for the handover of power.

He was present with his running mate during the 2024 general elections, Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang.

This announcement in a circular signed by Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin, follows the declaration by the Electoral Commission of John Dramani Mahama as the President-elect of Ghana in the aftermath of the December 7 presidential election.
