Trent Alexander-Arnold has confirmed he will leave Liverpool at the end of the season, with a move to Real Madrid likely.
Although no contract has been signed yet, the England defender is expected to join the Spanish giants on a free transfer.
Alexander-Arnold, 26, is a product of Liverpool’s academy and has made 352 appearances for the first team.
During his time at the club, he won two Premier League titles — including this season’s — as well as the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, Club World Cup, two Carabao Cups, the FA Cup, and the Community Shield.
He began this season as one of three key Liverpool players whose contracts were set to expire.
While the club managed to extend the deals of Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk, Alexander-Arnold will depart without Liverpool receiving a transfer fee.
