Popular stage actor Kwabena Yeboah, who acted in many plays by Uncle Ebo Whyte’s Roverman Productions, has died.
The news started spreading online on April 25, but the reason for his death hasn't been made public.
So far, Uncle Ebo Whyte and Roverman Productions haven’t shared any official message about his death.
But Kenneth Nii Saki Sackey from the Roverman Communications team confirmed it on Facebook by posting a candle emoji.
Since then, many people in the creative industry have been sharing messages and tributes to honor his memory.
Actor and CEO of Image Bureau, George Quaye, wrote on Facebook: “Unbelievable! KY! Rest well bro! Deepest condolences to your family, Uncle Ebo Whyte, and the entire Roverman team!
This is really sad!”Kwabena Yeboah’s last Facebook post, where he often shared glimpses of his stage work, was on January 26, 2025. In it, he showcased a new hairstyle with the caption: “Things we do for work and passion.”
An alumnus of Opoku Ware Senior High School and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, he appeared in several of Uncle Ebo’s plays, including I Want To Feed You. In his last play, he played the role of a pastor.
