Azoumaro Vanessa Salese, a third-year Social Work student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), is about to make history with a Guinness World Record attempt for the longest video game marathon.Scheduled for Friday, July 26, 2024, the event will take place in the Republic Hall Common area on the KNUST campus.

Vanessa plans to play games from the Ghost of Tsushima series continuously for 48 hours, aiming to set a new world record.The current record for the longest video game marathon is held by Oside Oluwole, also known as “Khoded,” who achieved 75 hours playing a soccer game.Vanessa’s ambitious endeavor has generated significant excitement among students and the wider community.
