The trial of two teenagers accused of conspiring to murder 10-year-old Ishmael Mensah Abdella faces further delays due to ongoing juror strikes.
Jurors have been protesting unpaid allowances spanning 10 months since May 16, resulting in multiple adjournments of the trial.
The proceedings, nearing conclusion with pending closing arguments by prosecution and defense lawyers, as well as jury deliberations, have been halted again after adjournments on May 7 and June 24.
On July 8, despite efforts to proceed, jurors were absent, prompting another adjournment to July 23.
The case has also affected other trials, including that of former MP J.B. Danquah and others.
