Over the next five years, more than 600 Ghanaian students are set to receive scholarship packages from the Jospong Group of Companies for studies at RUDN University in Russia.
The scholarships, covering Agriculture, Information Technology, Integrated Waste Management, and Climate Change studies, will benefit 120 Ghanaian students annually from 2024 to 2029.
The historic event was attended by the Speaker of the Ghanaian Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Kingsford Sumana Bagbin, and the Russian Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Sergei Berdnikov.
Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong, the Executive Chairman of Jospong Group, affirmed the company's commitment to absorbing the students upon the completion of their education.
In his assurance, Dr. Agyepong stated, "Gone are days when you finish your education and you stay behind because of lack of opportunities back home but I want to assure you that Jospong is ready to work with you so come and let's develop Ghana together," he assured.
This collaboration marks a significant stride in expanding educational opportunities for Ghanaian youth.
The ceremony symbolizes the beginning of a partnership aimed at making enduring contributions to agriculture, information technology, integrated waste management, and climate change studies.
