Flagbearer aspirant of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kennedy Agyapong, made a startling threat to wreak havoc and hire troublemakers if the region's delegates chose Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia to lead the party in the 2024 elections.Agyapong directly challenged the Central Regional executives during a speech at a political event. He threatened them with dire consequences if Bawumia won the upcoming elections.

If Bawumia wins in the Central Region, you will see what will happen to you people in 2024…I dare them.
