British filmmaker and actor Idris Elba has proposed collaborating with the government to develop a state-of-the-art film and creative hub on part of the coastal land near Osu Castle in Accra.
The project is designed to train and create job opportunities for creatives while revitalizing the local film industry.
Currently in Ghana, Elba met with President John Mahama at the Jubilee House, where he reaffirmed his dedication to restoring Africa’s film industry and amplifying African narratives.
