At a private celebration held at the African Regent Hotel for Stonebwoy’s graduation, Mr. Etse Satekla, the father of the celebrated TGMA Artiste Of The Year, shared an extraordinary story.
He revealed that he had used the birthdates of Stonebwoy and his late twin brother to play the lottery, which led to a significant win.
Stonebwoy, who graduated with a Second Class Upper degree in Public Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) on July 26, 2024, was honored at the event.
During the gathering, Mr. Satekla reminisced about how he had used the lottery winnings to cover the traditional rites for twins, reflecting on how the fortune confirmed his belief in his son's destined success.
Mr. Satekla recounted, “When my sons were born, I was not a Christian and used their birthdates to play the lottery. The win allowed me to fulfill all the traditional ceremonies for twins, and it felt like a sign of liberation and future greatness for my son.”
The party, which saw notable attendees such as Nadia Buary, Bola Ray, Keche, John Dumelo, Gloria Sarfo, and Criss Waddle, celebrated Stonebwoy’s academic achievement and his journey to becoming a prominent figure in the music industry.
