Member of Parliament for Nsawam Adoagyiri, Frank Annoh Dompreh, has characterized the upcoming January 27, 2024, primaries as a contest between a father and his sons.
He expressed confidence in winning 90% of the votes on the day, citing the work he has accomplished.
Referring to the other two contenders as "two musketeers," Mr Dompreh asserted that they will be taught a lesson during the primaries that they have never learned before and will never forget in their lives.
“I will show the two musketeers that you don’t fight your father. I will deal with them during the election. Saturday, by five, no one will tell them to stop talking,” he said while addressing party faithful in his constituency.
Despite the intense competition, Frank Annoh Dompreh emphasized a message against violence on the day of the election. It reflects a commitment to promoting peaceful and orderly processes during the electoral contest.
In the midst of this, the primary contender against Annoh Dompreh is Hayford Siaw, the Chief Executive Officer for the Ghana Libraries Authority. The inclusion of Siaw as a formidable opponent adds an interesting dynamic to the political landscape in Nsawam Adoagyiri.
Regarding the broader political party campaign, Annoh Dompreh stated that they are prepared to engage in a robust political contest against the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
