Broadcaster Bridget Otoo recently shared an intriguing aspect of her early relationship with Dr. Evans Ago Tetteh, shedding light on her initial doubts and subsequent transformation in perception.

During an appearance on the KSM Show, Otoo reminisced about their introduction in 2018 through a mutual friend named Fati.

Initially hesitant, she formed a quick judgment of Dr. Ago based on his WhatsApp profile picture.

"Fati told me her friend was interested after seeing my photo on her WhatsApp status," Otoo recalled.

Upon glimpsing Dr. Ago's display picture, Otoo hesitated, finding herself uninterested.

"I saw his WhatsApp DP—a muscular guy with a shoulder tattoo, clearly enjoying himself. My immediate thought was, 'No, not for me.'"

Despite receiving messages from Dr. Ago over the years, Otoo held back until their first meeting in September 2020, partly prompted by their proximity during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their face-to-face encounter shifted Otoo's perspective significantly.

"He was well-educated, articulate, and seemed to have it all," she acknowledged, reflecting on her initial misconceptions.

Post their meeting, Otoo, still cautious, had Dr. Ago investigated by a friend with ties to British intelligence.

Her inquiries delved not just into his character but also his political affiliations, considering her active support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and suspicions of potential political motives due to Dr. Ago's connections to the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Despite no adverse findings from the investigation, Otoo remained circumspect about their relationship until fully convinced of Dr. Ago's authenticity.

She clarified that her actions were driven by a need to protect her image and personal interests. Their journey culminated in marriage in August 2022, marking a significant milestone in their lives.
