Boateng, who also serves as secretary to the Board of the National Cathedral of Ghana, clarified that he had built his first house over 20 years ago without any political assistance. He acknowledged his close personal connections with Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo but stated that these relationships have not translated into financial gains or contracts.

He reiterated that despite his personal friendship with President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Bawumia, neither has provided him with any contracts or financial support. “The notion that I owe my success to political figures is unfounded. My achievements come from the blessings of God, not from any government connections,” Boateng said.
